Mother’s milk or baby milk is the main food for babies starting from birth up to 4 months.

Vegetables are the first to be introduced as a variety in your baby’s diet, starting at 6 months.

You are advised to introduce vegetables one by one, one flavor at once, try also to choose the perfect time to introduce new food.

Add 2 or 3 coffeespoons of vegetables in the baby milk bottle and then try to introduce vegetables step by step.

The second food to be introduced are fruits, always one by one, once a day, at midday or at tea-time, starting from 4 months. (Why is this the second food at 4 monthss when the first food,vegetables, is introduced at 6 months? see above)
You can follow that by giving fruit twice a day.

Fruit and vegetables are indispensable for a growing child.
Low in calories, rich in vitamins, they should always be there in a balanced meal.
Fruits bring vitamins and essential minerals to encourage good growth for your baby.

It is wise to avoid red fruits when starting to vary the diet, and preferable to offer fruits such as apples, bananas, peaches or pears.

Meat can be introduced from 6 to 7 months, whether at lunch time or in the evening is not important for the overall nutritional plan.

You can alternate fish with the meat but you must only give fish or meat once a day to start with.
